Hydrudn 500 mg is a systemic cytostatic antineoplastic medicinal product containing hydroxyurea, an antimetabolite with proven efficacy in oncology and hematology. It is used in the treatment of various malignant neoplasms and myeloproliferative disorders.

Hydroxyurea acts by inhibiting the enzyme ribonucleotide reductase, which is essential for the synthesis of deoxyribonucleotides required for DNA production.
